Welcome to the Montgomery Community Band!
The Montgomery Community Band began with a simple idea: bring local musicians together to make music.
In late fall of 2022, founder and trumpet player Joe Fioretti posted on Facebook asking if anyone in the area would be interested in joining a community band. The response was incredible—musicians from across the community reached out, from active players to those who hadn’t picked up their instruments in decades.
By January 2023, about 50 musicians gathered for the first rehearsal, officially launching the Montgomery Community Band. With the help of Todd Burrer, who served as the inaugural Conductor and Musical Director, the group quickly came together musically.

MCB soon became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing the band to receive tax-deductible donations that help support concerts, music, and community performances.
Today, MCB has grown to more than 50 musicians who rehearse on Sunday evenings at Lake Creek High School, sharing free concerts and a love of music with the community.
MCB is open to musicians of all skill levels. Played in high school but always wondered if you could pick it up again? Join us and be part of our musical community!
